Entered Assembly today, so it looks like their estimate to finish tomorrow is on target. Still hoping to catch a boat to NYC on the 7th, but more likely I'll catch the boat on the 12th. Either way, this is all moving quickly and I'm happy to see its all coming together!

 

"WMWSU3C56DT373633" was received at port. That VIN is within 30 of mine!!! I really hope to make the May 8 boat to Port Hueneme

 

Don't give up hope - mine was under three days from factory to ship. Could still happen!

How often do you guys talk to your MA???

I haven't bothered my MA once. In fact, I've never met the guy. I've used the OL to get my VIN, ASK-MINI automated system, and occasionally the ASK-MINI representatives. Now that I'm heading to the port, I'm checking the WW website to see if my VIN shows up. I'm pretty sure that WW is the only company taking vehicles to Port Hueneme. Oh, and NYK, but the WW ship leaves first and I hope to be on that.

I am hoping I load to the Michigan Highway (K-Line) whcih is currently loading at Bremerhaven. If I had caught the Mignon (WW) yesterday I am sure my VIN would be on thier site by now.

 

My Mini is complete and waiting for release to the carrier AND the Mignon is now sailing on the 8th instead of the 7th! Will I make it??? Only Wallenius knows! I will put this offer out there, if Wallenus puts my cabrio on the Mignon on the 8th, I will name my car Wally as a token of appreciation. . Tempting Wallenus? Hmmm?

I was hoping for the Michigan Highway too. It was my last hope of having it in time for a Memorial Day jaunt down to Key West. :(

As it stands now I probably won't take delivery until June.

 

Mine should be at the port now. Or soon. Waiting for it to show up in WW's site

 

Mines is at the port awaiting a ship. I hope to make K-Line's Chesapeake Highway which leaves tomorrow on the 5th! If not, then WW's Tamesis leaves on the 9th. The K-Line's ship arrives in Baltimore on 5/14 so I'm praying my car makes it on that ship tomorrow. Since I have a chili red convertible I'm leaning towards a feisty name and if my car ships on Cinco de Mayo then I will go with Caliente. Wishing everyone quick transport and delivery!

 

About 24 hours till I start my trip to pick up Tigger. The first order of business when I pick him up, is to go with my friend to the Nurburgring. Obviously I won't be racing him, but we had planned this trip a while ago and it's only an hour from where I pick Tigger up.

Normally I'd be excited, but since my fiancée is leaving today to take her new job at Northwestern University tomorrow morning, it's kinda a bitter sweet day tomorrow.

I have been following your posts for awhile. I just want to let you know that my mini's production date was 05/01 and my mini was at the port on 05/02 so it looks like that my mini is only one day ahead of yours. So, if your mini makes it on the Michigan high way boat tonight, my mini will probably be be next to yours partying together on the boat all the way to Baltimore, or perhaps the next boat if they fall sleep tonight and miss this one. As people say " we are on the same boat together!".

I have been following the Michigan High Way journey and I believe it will leave Southamton port later tonight EST ( according to the link you have posted). If you hear any news please keep me updated. Thank you

 

Yes I'm hoping I made K Line's Michigan Highway (I think I got it mixed up with another ship on a earlier post). K Line is hard to track so I will call my MA tomorrow to see if he knows for sure if it shipped. If not, I will live vicariously through your journey until my car is shipped.

 

My car did not make Michigan Hwy. I guess it should be on WW Tamesis leaving port on Friday.

 

How do you know? I thought you couldn't track on K-line, and that the OL and your MA may not know until it's half way across the pond... I'm hoping my Countryman made it on MH, too!

 

My MA checked today, but I hope you are right and maybe their system is not updated either. II will just anticipate my car hitting US soil by next weekend and if it arrives by the 14th that will be even better.

 

I'm hoping mine makes it on that same ship! It's still in transport to the port of exit though, not sure it's going to make it. If not I think it's going to be the Integrity which doesn't make port in the U.S. until May 28th.

 

For anyone waiting for Asian King (I think there was at least one other besides myself), here it is at the autoport in Eastern Passage, N.S. (near Halifax) this afternoon. From here it sails to New York.

Couldn't spot my car anywhere but that wasn't surprising given how many thousands of cars they have parked at the port.
