It's not the greatest picture since I was a ways away, but the cars lined up near the telephone pole, fronts facing the camera, came off the ship yesterday. BMWs on the left and Minis toward the right. There's an Ice Blue Cooper hardtop in the front row of Minis - first one of that colour I've ever seen in person.

I think I am gonna leave it be, I heard that a lot of mini owners in some other countries can't even customize their mini. They get whatever the dealers have or await without any expectation on what will be available for them and no estimate delivery date. Here, we customize ours and the dealers give us the estimate delivery. I'll let dealers and cargo's work on it for me If I go crazy with this again, I'll go shopping, eating and dancing!!

I'm lost! My baby completed production on May 3rd and as of today, MINI has just said that it is finishing Quality checks. I checked the VIN on WW, but nothing. I was hoping to be on the Mignon, but it doesn't look promising. I'm starting to think that because I'm probably going to Brunswick or Charleston that I'll get loaded on the K-Line. Everything moved real fast up to this point, now it looks as though the voyage is really going to stall out....Ah this waiting is killing me.....

It's hard to get a true sense of how long it should take to board once your car arrives to port and there is a ship there. Some folks have been lucky and snagged a spot after a day or so and others have waited more than 2 weeks. I will be put at ease once I know my car has made it on a ship to Baltimore.

I feel your pain, all of you.
Even though this is MINI #6 for me (and the second one I've ordered, rather than purchased off the lot), the wait was almost unbearable.
It will all pay off in spades, though. I pick up Louie tonight, assuming I can get off work early enough.

At least you all seem to be on the east coast! When it get to you your neck of the woods, there's still a continent to be crossed before it get out here to the west coast....such a drag! Though I was amazed at my dealer's ability to pop my order into one of their slots that was just about to start production. It's been at the port waiting to hitch a ride and I only ordered it on 4/22...pretty spectacular.

You can actually view the schedules online. This link is to the schedule for ships inbound to North America from Europe: http://sagaweb.2wglobal.com/AppSched...pe=generatePDF
Next ship sailing for Port Hueneme appears to be the Morning Claire on Apr. 30. Hope yours makes that one!

I still haven't been able to get a VIN number, so there's no way to know what's up! My MA not a tremendous help, despite the very significant $$ spent. Oh well, it will get here...sooner or later!.

Thanks for the link! It will be interesting to see if I make the 5/4th departure on the Torino to Port Humane or it sits until the 5/15th sailing on the Fedora...hope it's the earlier one! I think it was in the port as of 5/1 after a lightening fast build.

I might be wrong but from what I learned...If yours tend to come with WW Tamesis your VIN should show on WW site by now (it should show even right after it releases from birth canal). WW don't have my VIN on record as well so I suppose that mine will come with any of the K line's which ( I might be wrong again, please anyone correct me) 2 of K line's come to Baltimore, and the other 2 come to Charleston. Charleston is as far as Baltimore from where I live.

My status on ask mini and OL went to En-route today. How long after it is on a ship does this normaly happen?
The Tambora a WWL ship is loading today and I don't think it is that real time. I may have caught the K-Line ship the other day and it just updated. My MA went to Porsche after I ordered and have not gotten the replacement live on the phone yet.
But at least I am floating

As of 5/3/13, my status changed to "Awaiting Transport." There has been no change in this status as of this morning. My MINI will be coming into Baltimore, MD, and based on the WW departure schedule (thanks, kavatski), it looks like departure might be in the next few days, with arrival between May 16th-28th.

Hope yours ships out quickly, Mr. T.
For those watching the Mignon (Halifax/New York, departing today), it looks like more VINs have been added to that booking. There are now 439 cars booked in total, up from 396 yesterday. So if you were hoping for the Mignon but hadn't seen your VIN yet, check again.
Bookings for the Tulane (Port Hueneme, departing tomorrow) are showing up as well.

That makes sense. I ordered mine before then but it didn't finish production until 5/4 (although I still was able to get the $750 off by going in to the dealership). Oh well, all of these cars will be in our garages before we know it. Its fun to have something to look forward to.

The sale event really doesn't effect things. They make the cars at the same speed, no matter how many orders. This is pretty typical timing for all this.
This is the second mini I ordered, and I was hoping the wait wouldn't be as bad, but who am I kidding!!! I was lucky enough to ship on WW the first round, and yes, you typically get booked right after the car is built. So at this point, I am most likely on the k-line. For those who are, you just have to wait until your MA has the ship name to track it.

Your comment made me realize I could have done the same! The rules set a cut-off date for delivery, but didn't say anything about when you could order. No matter, my MA just called to let me know I'm in production. Woohoo!
