My JCW was "born" on June 1st, and waiting for "Awaiting Transport". Hope she makes a ship in the next week! Maybe might get her by my birthday in early July.
Have you tried entering the VIN on WW's website? Where are you located? (It makes a difference to which ships you might get on.)
I have tried to track on WW site. I think I missed the Tongala which sailed today. Hope to make the next one out.
If you see a "Returned to Shipper" notice on the WW tracking page, don't panic. That just means there wasn't room for your car on the Tongala and you'll be first in line for the next boat. That's what happened to me, so I feel your pain...
You finally pulled the trigger!! Welcome aboard this very interesting waiting game ha ha
haha... yep, FINALLY. My sales rep (pardon me, Motoring Advisor) told me they had no more JCW slots for 2013s and only three "S" slots still open but he could get one of those "S" slots converted to a JCW slot before they are all gone. Figured better jump now before the jumping is all over and then I'd be looking around for one from some dealership inventory that comes close to my build. Appears there won't be much more ordering of R56s.
Very glad I got a 2013... will prefer the design of the R56 over the F56, almost positive of that. And got the year they started using the N18 instead of the N14 engine in the JCW.

I think you made a very wise decision... That's the whole reason I jumped in now as well... I didn't care at all the way the F56 direction was going..Plus when I heard the possible of not having that huge speedo in the middle anymore.. I jumped in and placed my order for a 2013... That was the straw that broke the back so to speak.. But I do feel the 2013 model year might be one of the best second gen MINIs to have

Congratulations, you will love it! I sure love mine

That quirky, big speedo was part of my reason too. But the big factor was me was all the reports of the F56 being longer, wider, and taller.
Yeah, I got the last year of the R56 and our first MINIs were the last year of the R50s. Timing is everything !

Thanks, Greg...errrr... I mean SUPER Greg. I'm sure I will too ! Can't wait to feel the horses and hear the pop and burble and the deep, throaty exhaust.

Yeah, it really does sound nice. I had the JCW tune on my 2008 "S", and it droned like crazy. This exhaust is perfect! Oh, and those horses, whew, hold on

Yep... this will be the quickest car I've ever owned. I've had some other nice cars but nothing with this amount of torque or horses. And I've already had 8 speeding tickets in my 36 years of driving. Hmmmm...... maybe not such a good decision.

Here was another nice surprise. My 2008 MCS had tons of torque steer. You really had to grip the wheel hard on that car. With this new JCW, the TS is virtually absent!
that IS good news. My 05 MCS Convertible had more torque steer than I prefer. I've heard this JCW drives as if on rails. Didn't get to test it out hard enough during the test drive to find out. Looking forward to it !
I know, I know, some of you are probably saying "Its About Time." Here are some pic of my roadster. I took delivery last Friday and I just love it. Everyone who has taken delivery of a new MINI knows exactly what this feels like. Is there anything more to say?
