I actually played around with the color correction quite a bit before giving up and posting the best I could come up with. It's just a very nuanced color that's difficult to represent (nevermind the vagaries of the monitors being used on the other end). But in person, I really love it. I know the MF guys have said in the past that they don't like it, but to me, it's just about the perfect balance between a true orange and a copper.
If MINI had offered a toffee version of the Yours dash, I would have been all over that, with the same seats you ordered. But alas. As it is, I'm happy with what I've got. Classes up the joint.

Thanks TraceH Good to know... I happened to watch the video of the factory in oxford how a car goes through the production line.. They say a MINI rolls off the line every 68 sec!! I was like shocked to hear that..lol Do you know or anyone else know if this factory works around the clock so to speak?

Here's, at least, a decent shot of the two-tone leather dash with striped aliminum, which I think looks quite nice: http://s24.postimg.org/fwp2ydhtx/IMG_6646.jpg
I'd love to see MINI offer a range of leather dashes as broad as what they offer as color lines.

If you call the Ask Mini hotline it will tell you the estimated production completion date if you have your production number.

Thanks EHan.. I did call and it said it should be done today...which I thought was strange since it also said it was out of the paint shop..so maybe it meant today was the finishing of the paint shop.. I don't know really...what do you think?

Mine said it entered the body shop on 5/10, entered the paint shop on 5/10 and entered the assembly shop on 5/13. It was a Paceman, so different factory than the Hardtop/Convertible, etc. but I would think pretty similar for both shops. You should expect to be done with assembly the same day it starts and quickly move on to QA. Things move pretty fast once they start building it, but can really slow down when it's waiting for a ship and riding over here. Watching my ship come in as I type - 90 miles to go up the Chesapeake Bay.

Hrm... mine never told me it was in any particular phase of production, just that it was in production. Mine says estimated completion date June 6, and it is June 7 in Austria right now, but the system still has the June 6 date. Hoping it is just a matter of the system being updated.
I'll try again tomorrow.
