Yup... looks like the WW tracking site also has some delays factored in. It updated just today to show my girl as being booked on a ship, and as having been received at the terminal.... both took place on 06/13/13.
Ask MINI(Both automated and CR): waiting for transport
WW: Delivered in port of NYC
MA: Delivered in port of Baltimore
OL(estimated delivery date of 6/16): At Distribution Center

Reality: Who knows.
I did call Ask Mini, both automated and CR today. Both still have my girl as awaiting a ship. The rep I spoke with stated this was as of 06/13/13. They have no updates since.

Did you order navigation? I have the technology package without nav (just the MINI connect) and have an iPhone 5. I am really hoping the integration of Apple with MINI technology will prove this was a good idea. I currently have iDrive in a 2008 BMW 335, but the technology and integration with iphone is so far behind, I find I use my car navigation regularly. Any feedback?
You're gonna be sorely disappointed. iPhone 5 supports no visual functions. iPod Out is only supported on 30-pin iPod adapter phones (4S and earlier).
Lots of other features still work, but getting a visual representation of what the phone is doing is not one of them.
It seems like the action comes in waves around here. Nothing for a while ... then suddenly everyone is on a boat or getting their car or taking spy shots before the dealer will let them drive away. It only worsens my anticipation, but it's good to see some movement.
Five to ten days left for me, then I'll be an absolute basket case, looking for any excuse to run an errand or find a grocery store 30 miles out of the way. Can't wait.
Anyone else tracking their car, don't be discouraged if the WW site says your car isn't on board the day of departure. It can take 3-4 days to get it in their system it seems!
Told ya. :) Your neurosis was rewarded handsomely. There's a good life lesson in there somewhere!
Tongala is through the Panama canal, I've been a bit busy recently to stress about it. I've never had much luck tracking the ships in international waters. Just a week till it docks at Port Hueneme.
