ASK MINI says mine has been released to the carrier. Another baby step. But hey, at least I don't have to hear "in production" for a looooong time. Or not, depending on why I buy my next one.

Maybe we can just swap homes !

Where in MD do you live?!?! I don't see a lot of those listings where I work (Frederick area)

I work in Frederick but bought a house in Hagerstown. That house in Frederick would easily run $400,000. And in Eldersburg, where I was living and am moving back to next year, that house would easily be half a million. Hagerstown is close to WV and the cost of living is much less out here !

It's not real until you show it!

One of these is a tank and one of these is the MINI I picked up earlier today.

Couger Ace? TMI

Once again I'm learning more about maritime shipping than I ever wanted to know.

I didn't realize you can't track ships while their in the middle of the ocean.

btw - I grew up in Long Beach/Lakewood area. Really miss it and still have a lot of friends out there. But man, is the cost of living better in GA.

So our saga continues, our CM Is still in RI with a expedited priority transport to Annapolis. It turns out the transport truck sent up there broke down before she picked our baby up.

Good news, I somehow got a nail in the loaner CM runflat (out luck), so we returned to MOA and they traded my CM loaner to a Paceman S All4, at least we get an extended test drive of the other model haha

I think you can relax now, Zippy. Your MINI is on the ship and unless he misbehaves terribly, they won't kick him off.

MOA had "selection" at the time, Rockville is further in traffic than Annapolis. How's service at Mini of Rockville?

I was going to ask the MA in RI to take some scenic pics

I see. Beats me, never even been there, even though they are closer than MINI of Baltimore. I have been going to them long before they moved from Towson and have a rapport with them, get treated very well, especially by their service dept.

Your MINI is going to come back with one of those funny Mass/RI accents.

I know that area well...same reason my wife and I moved to southern PA almost 7 years ago: housing significantly cheaper here than in Frederick Co.

That was my ship! I'm glad you didn't post this earlier, or I would have ended up watching it about eight times in the last couple of weeks. But since no one else said they were on the Faust, I like to imagine my MINI as being the only car loaded onto the ship.

Thanks for posting this, I'm eager to watch it.

So true.

I already know I will be QDing mine after every day it's out of the garage. And when it's in the garage, I will be peeking out there for a glimpse a dozen times a day.

I got my 06 MCS from Mini of Sterling, but thats just way too far now..

I'm sure our MINI will have a RI accent after being there that long. I'll have to test the voice control for "rotary" instead of traffic circle and "blinkers" instead of turn signals..

But at least our experience has us in the Paceman for awhile, and that's wicked cool..
