CMS All4, light silver w/black mirrors and roof, nav, cold weather pkg, premium pkg, sport suspension.
BTW, I didn't drive the JCW (too scared I was going to like it too much), but was able to test drive a Paceman to try out the sport suspension....and loved it.

Lots of nice-looking deliveries!
Backing up a few pages to accessories (you people move fast), I have a couple things here at home waiting for my MINI to arrive: a Craven Speed R56 dipstick, and PIAA silicone wipers. I'm told the dipstick is a mandatory upgrade, so I'm not about to risk anything by using the stock one. And the wipers just look amazing, like applying Rain-X with every wipe.
Pretty dorky things to be excited about, but I'm starting small.

Alan, that Craven Speed dipstick is one of the things I have sitting here waiting on my MINI. Like you said, why risk not running a brand new car low or high on oil just over a $70 dipstick that can be a lot more easy to read. Yep, not a flashy accessory but can't imagine spending money any more wisely on a new car.
Meanwhile... MINI, how about taking care of this issue on the next MINIs so we don't have to spend this money on a damn dipstick ?!

All that means is, your MINI isn't in their manifest yet. But yes, you put the VIN in the cargo field on the carrier's website.
After it's out of the factory, will take anywhere from a few days to a week to maybe even 10 days to shop up on the shipping company's website. Normally about five days.

It's traveling on the TOMBARRA, and the ETA at the Halifax Port of Discharge is July 2nd! Right after Canada Day, eh! Now it feels real!!!

My 05 R50 I just bought last year has tint from D&L but it's the only one of ours that has never had a clear bra. It was 7 years old when I bought it, and it's my "train my son to drive a stick" car. no sense in clear bra-ing that one.
My JCW that is on order, I'm going to have done by the dealership. The guy that does that installs is well respected along the eastern seaboard. In fact, he was recently overseas doing training. I think that says something about his ability. Since I'm planning on keeping my JCW for the very long haul, I don't mind paying more for this install. And I know they use one of the best films available. And I do like the peace of mind knowing my MINI will be protected before it even drives an inch on public roads.
But yes, you can get one installed much cheaper aftermarket. D&L tinting charged us about $400 for the clear bra install on the R50 last year (the 06 had a bumper and bonnet paint job before putting it on). What I didn't care for about their install.... there is a seam down the middle on the lower bumper. Made it easier for them to install but just another seam to trap dirt. And I had to have them go back and install some film on the little strip that runs across the lower bumper because they either forgot it or thought we wouldn't notice.
I've never had the need to research installers in Frederick or Hagerstown. I would think there are a few in Frederick, given the size of the town and how many car dealerships there are. If I were to look for one there, I would call my favorite body shop there and ask them for a recommendation.... Zamora's. Then I would visit them and ask to see some of their work or watch them do a job.

Yeah, I really should get around to that one of these days. Geez, we've had the Countryman for a year now. It is about that time, isn't it ? And the 05 R50 I just bought last year looks great for his age. Need do replace some of my pics of the two that have been sold with the new family members. Thanks for the little push to do so, will get it done soon.
