Angus, if your ship is anything like the California Highway it will always be ahead of schedule! The downside, at least with the CH coming into Baltimore, is that it had to anchor in a little used harbor for 12 hours to let another ship finish unloading.
It's a day ahead of schedule into Brunswick but I assume it will still unload on the scheduled date.
Oh well, better waiting at the dock than anxiously wondering if it will make it's scheduled date!
Thank you so much for this info. I'm very anxious to get my first MINi, and a bit concerned about the possibility of anything going wrong. When I ordered the MINI last month, my MA told me that I didn't have to sign any papers or put down any kind of a deposit. She gave me a total figure for the cost (minus discount) and the "estimated" trade-in value they would give me for my car, a 2004 Honda S2000, with the proviso that I not put any "unusual" or excessive miles on my car in the meantime, and that the car remains in its current mechanical and cosmetic condition. I didn't even have to take the car in, they just wanted the VIN and to email them some pictures, which I took with my cell phone.
This has been, by far, the weirdest car buying experience I've ever had. I'm keeping my fingers firmly crossed that it ends well.
Hoping mine is being loaded or is already loaded on this guy:
I'm with you! Mine has been "Awaiting Transport" for well over a week now. My current car gets sold this Saturday, so I'm really hoping my Mini makes this ship so I'm not rocking my bike to work for too long...

I'm with you guys too! Just got an updated status showing "waiting for transportation".
So I guess that's another 4 weeks of wait minimal.
Must be getting closer. My CM just showed up on the new inventory for sale on my dealership's website. ETA to the dealer ship is today or tomorrow. No one is really sure...
Congrats cnyilas. Churchill has got me wishing i went with chili red instead of black . Hopefully ill be joining the new delivery club soon. Looks like the Parsifal is approaching the Chesapeake bay. I hope i can take delivery this weekend
While Chili Red is a great and classic color, don't regret your decision. There is NO color that can reflect and look as deep and reflective as a pure black. It requires attention but if you're willing to put in a little work... the black will continue to impress !
Finally anchored at the Brunswick port. Now, how long to unload and get on a truck headed for Texas.
Icebox, I'm on the California Highway too. Cool that it go to port a day early huh?
Status in OL says awaiting transport to VDC. My MA says with any luck I'll have it next Weds.
He also mentioned that the transports prefer to haul a full load with gas prices like they are so hopefully there's enough MINIs going to ATL (and TX) waiting already!

So true. It's a good thing I love detailing as a hobby.
Me too... nothing like a beautiful, clean, shiny MINI. So it's a labor of love for me. I went with a light color this time but I'll get pleasure out of making the Chili Red roof shine to the max.
