They gave me this whole schpiel about this... I told them I wasn't happy on how very little contact they had with me ..along with other things...Now my MA has called me 4 times this week asking how my MINI was and about how I need to give them a 10 on everything... or they fail!! I highly told them what areas they need to improve on... Im dealing with them now on some extras for my car..I told them im not filling it out yet!!

Hello everyone and thansk for the feedback,
I guess it's time for me to make a call or two then. I haven't heard a word from my MA as well. I really just want help finding out which boat it might be on.
TG if you have your production number and don't mind setting up a profile on the Mini Owners Lounge you can get your VIN under the order details. Along with seeing that everything was ordered like you thought it was. Or just call your MA
And I have to echo everything CR has said about the survey. When we bought our 2004 Cooper giving all tens was the only way they would throw in the floor mats for free! Mind you this was when just to get a MINI required a 6 month wait or a hefty mark up over MSRP here in the Bay Area. What a useless survey system. I know this was 10 years ago but I have a crazy feeling it's still that way. I hope not but I guess I will find out.
Cheers.

Wow, yes it went happy Mike the Camel hump day quite. Well, in case you wanted to re-live the wait, my MCS is at the port. Looks like my daughter got the point on nicknames as we are at least down to double digit words. So far Cherry Bomb is her new name ( I explained the loss of "sparkle" best I could CR). I haven't given up but my 8 year old son gave his stamp of approval so it's not looking good. Im out numbered.
So next up is trying to figure out which boat she might be on. Any tips or is calling my MA the only way? WW site shows the next ship leaving 8/1 but I really, really hope she doesn't sit that long.
So far ordered 7/7 started production 7/12 finished 7/22 and at port 7/24.
Looooong way to go

I like the name ! Cute yet powerful. ;-)
Your MA is not the best sourse. Do you have your VIN ? Keep entering on the WW search site until it shows up there.
And hate to be the bearer of bad news but don't be a bit surprised if your MINI does sit at the port for a week to ten days, maybe even two weeks. Sometimes that takes longer than it took the factory to build it.
Hang in there... it'll happen. The days just seem to drag buy when you're waiting.

Thanks CR,
I'll keep trying the WW line. I can't figure out the K-Line schedule as easy but if I am reading it right, the WW leaves first anyway on 8/1. So sadly it will sit there at port for a week. Hey, I guess it could have been worse!
I do have the VIN from the OL and so far nothing on WW's site.

Thanks CR,
That helps me temper my expectations. I sure hope I hit that boat then. I won't bother checking the WW site again for a days and see if anything pops up then.
Until then back to thinking about mods and wondering if I shouldn't have stayed with the 16"'s. I'm thinking now that the OEM Twin Spokes might be a lot more wieght then I thought. Oh well. It's one of the few wheels I can't seem to get the weight spec for. I can guess tho and its not lite.

Ha... I mentioned that the other day. Considering I left the board for a couple of years, that's about 2,000 per year or about 6 posts every day for the five years I've been actively posting. 6 times a day is not a lot but to be that active EVERY day.... LOL... yeah, I have a lot of opinions, I like to offer help, and I like to chat. And there you go... the recipe for 11,000 posts.

Mine made it to Panama but has been driving around in circles literally it made two of them in the past 24 hours. But I know I am a little better off than the poor guys waiting to have theirs even start production.

Quick note in case anyone is wondering how I know the boats making circles in the ocean if you look at this site and put in your boat name you do need to know what flag its flying. Like mine Toledo [UK]. Click on the balloon the comes up and click track route. If the tracking stopped which seems to happen a few times during the voyage. You just get the last time it appeared and what its been doing. The site refreshes on its own every 90 sec. It will give you the speed and direction and degree. More info than you ever want to know.
