Only thing I'm concerned about... how do I listen to my HK stereo blasting some classic rock and still enjoy the pops and burbles ? Going to have to alternate between the two I guess... Pink Floyd... POP POP.... Rolling Stones... POP POP... Queen... POP POP..................

Glad to see people coming back after delivery. But post some pics
I am learning about gargo vessels (Thanks Chem and everyone). Fun! Looks like the K-Line does not travel to Califronia. Good news is the WW site is easy to use. Still not showing on a boat yet. And I'm still hoping I at least catch the Fidelio on 8/1. Yes, I have no patience.
As for the pop and burbble I have a question. Is this common to all MINI's, just the turbo charged S or something from the JCW tuning?
I'm guess it has to be a turbo thing but never had this on my WRX and my last MINI was a 2004 Justa that didn't do this either.
Last question while we all wait. Anyone getting seat covers? I had Wet Okoles on my M Coupe and loved them and I am thinking of a set for the MCS. I heard CoverKing makes a nice set as well but have no experience with them.
Ok one more question. Do I still call it a MCS? Do you guys specify Hardtop? It's nuts how many MINI's there are now!
Ok back to work I guess...

Having tons of fun driving my girl. Had to give her a good wash, though... picked up a lot of road grime on the way back. Hoping to schedule the Clear Bra install soon. So far, the only thing I have to report is a few drops of something on the bonnet... almost looks like liquid wax that was not buffed in on time. I wonder if I can buff it out, somehow. Though you do have to look at the bonnet from an angle to notice it.
Can't help having a big smile on my face when I'm driving these days. I previously shied away from ragtops due to concerns about the stiffness of the chassis with the roof off on other convertibles. But I'm really enjoying this one.

Silicone wax and grease remover will take care of it, without damage to the paint. It's the stuff body shops use to wipe down cars just before they paint them. It's also great for removing tar; it's less aggressive than typical tar removers. Most auto parts stores sell it.

Spent half the day watching the webcams at the Panama Canal so i could see the Toledo carry my baby to the Pacific. Grabbed a ton of screen shots and than created an 18 second time lapse video of the Toledo passing through the first set of locks. I will upload video of the 2nd set tomorrow. Here is a link to the Gatun locks video from this morning: http://www.mcerlains.com/toledo.MOV
