Given you also went with the samples one shade on each side of that color, you're going to be fine with one of the three. Make sure you check the swatches in several kinds of lighting, too... direct, indirect, shade, partial shade.
After all, life doesn't have many bigger decisions than this one !
Ha ha...my wife, for as little as she listens to me about THE CAR, is really tired of my complaining and fretting.
My car is currently awaiting release to the carrier I'll be flying out to California again for work the 8th. I won't be back till late October! My brother will enjoy my Mini for me!
I'd have that puppy shipped to CA then drive it back at the end of the job.

That's good advice, etidd01, plus: Artificial lighting will show you the greatest differences in the true colors of your swatches when they're compared to your reference source (a mirror cap?), so make sure you also take them all to parking lots with different types of lighting after dark. Pieces that seem to match perfectly in daylight (or even shaded daylight) can look entirely different at night, to the level that you'd swear someone switched the swatches. (Try to say that fast 10 times!)
BTW, comparing the samples inside is pretty worthless, since you'll never see the car in those conditions - unless you plan on sitting in the garage with the ceiling lights on, admiring your car.
Finally, every different surface (molded plastic, vinyl, painted metal) has a different reflectivity, so don't expect an absolutely perfect match. Get as close as you can, and then go drive the car and get it dirty!

Uhm... Is that wrong to do? Should I bring the chair back into the house?

I feel your pain. I work 4 weeks at a time in Africa. Apparently mine won't begin production for another 10 days (it's been 35 days since I ordered it). I'm guessing delivery will be late September. Between now and November I will be home for a total of 2 weeks. I guess the MINI dealership will just have to hang on to mine...like they did with the original order...barstarreds.
All good points and will definitely use those suggestions to aid/hinder the decision. On the computer, the sample MMG is sending looks much closer than the vinyl guy had (having a 3"x3" sample will be much better too).
Thought I saw that it was tomorrow (which never made much sense to me, BTW)? Sunday might be tougher to swing now that my wife has 15 members of her extended family coming over.
Maybe I'll just have to do a one-man car show on the back roads of Adams County.
They had a black convertible with green mirror caps and wheel centers, but no stripes. But they did have that nice green display block in the background to tease you...
I do like how the wide silver stripes get narrower as they go from front to back and the thin, red stripes get proportionately wider from front to back - the magic of having a computerized plotter, I guess.

Uh-oh, I sense tears coming on. I guess we'll have to add "Bye-bye, old MINI" hankies to the new accessories list.
Have fun, Lili – the clouds will part as you motor down the road!
Yup... It was a sad day indeed... But my Camden did what she was meant to do - turn me into a true MINIac! And you were dead on! The clouds did part after I took delivery...!!!

Sure was! But must admit that once I saw my Bayswater, I knew everything would be alright and that I was in for a treat!

I feel the love guys, or my MINI sure does anyway! Pics coming in a few minutes!
Last pic taken of my Camden... She will be auctioned off. Was not worth it for the dealership to try and resale a car that had suffered extensive damage...
