Hmmmm... well, I'm at 12 days of ownership and 490 miles. SO just over 40 miles per day average. And now I have POP from the exhaust so I think I win on all counts.
Like I said... Quality over quantity. To each their own! But having POP must be pretty awesome!

Glad to hear you finally have the pop! It makes it so much funner to drive. Last week I was pulling into my office garage and he let out a really loud pop that was amplified by the parking structure. I'm sure there was someone nearby that thought I needed a major tuneup.

That was my point, Lili... More Pop = More Quality Driving.

I bet you were a little surprised too.
Oh yeah, much more fun to drive. But you have to wonder what it does to the MPGs as you go up and down on the tach to make for more POPs.
LOL... I'm a conservitive when it comes to political matters but not when it comes to MINIs.
Actually, I do like to keep things to the three colors... white, red, black. So the lights are set to red and they look darn good ! Will have to try your choice of blue for a while and see if I like it.
Haha I use dark blue most of the time, but red for long drives so my eyes can focus at night..
You know, I saw an all-black Countryman during my commute yesterday. It had been lowered. And I have to say, it looked AWESOME. Nicest one I've ever seen in person. When the Countryman is lowered as much as that one was, it looks much more like it's older cousin, the Hardtop.
I'd love to get mine lowered, but it would defeat the purpose of why I got a CMS vs a Clubman - ground clearance for a few less-than-ideal access roads.
I'm hoping the POPs become more consistent once the engine is broken in. Right now I'm only getting them at the end of my long commutes when the engine is good and hot (if that is the trigger). I don't have 500 miles yet.

I'm at just under 3000 and it takes maybe 5 minutes from my house on the way to work for it to start popping and burbling. And being an automatic I know the speeds where it's almost guaranteed to pop haha.

Do you remember how many miles you had when the POPs became steady and consistent during decel ?
