I haven't ordered it yet, but I will soon. I'm going to wait until the GP front diffuser gets here (backordered), so I can do both at the same time. Then I'll be smoooooth from front to rear underneath.
(Insert your joke here, but make it quick because I'm bailing out for the SuperGreg thread!)

That's quite impressive. Good to see it can be done in such a short amount of time though. I only racked up fifty miles after taking delivery around 6 last night. Prior engagements kept me from putting in more time and from taking pictures. Other than work, it's an open schedule from here on out.

Passed through the Panama Canal and now in the Pacific ocean! Whoohooo.
Yes CR, it can be fun and a headache all at once! I have a few roads in mind, but really the first "trip" is going to be down highway 1 along the coast. Start off in Pacifica, down through Half Moon Bay, and on into Santa Cruz. I hope to take a few pics near The Boardwalk but fingers crossed its not super foggy.
Now I just need a MINI!

You'll need the production number from you MA and you can log on to the Owners Lounge. From there once you have your VIN your good to go. Once it leaves the factory you can check a few sites to see what ship its loaded on by using the VIN. Check this link https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d-updated.html From use the following link to track the ship http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/. As long as its in range of a receiver you'll see it moving speed direction etc...
Once at the VDC you have to call the MA to get more info. Ours was really cool about telling us where is was and what was happening.

On an unrelated note, does anyone know if Mini does an oil change after the break in period? I always thought that new engines needed an oil change after the first 500-1000 miles of use. I haven't seen anything about it in the manual posted online or on this site.

No. You can do one, but it won't be covered in the free maintance.

Mine was finished about a week ago and has been sitting around waiting for the boat. I called this week and I was told ~3-4 weeks, depending on when it got on the boat. I would guess that both will arrive in Houston (Woodlands) at about the same time. Kind of a bummer waiting to see if it has been shipped, but it will get here at some point. All I can do is wait semi-patiently and enjoy it when it does.

I found a ship called the Don Juan with the WW line left Southampton yesterday. I thought mine would be on it, but no apparently not. WW has another couple of ships coming over in the next week or so, they take 15 - 20 days to float across just to the GA port. So mine seems to be sitting in Southampton for now.
I was hoping I'd get it before I go back to work next Monday - I'll be gone for a month, then back home for 3 days, then Australia for a month, then back to work for a month. So if I pick it up when I get home in September, it will sit in my garage for 2 months before I can drive it. I should have had it already, but the MA sat on the order for 4 weeks before submitting it. Pissed. I should've gone to the Woodlands. I didn't like the sales manager at the dealership at Clear Lake...so can you guess where I went to buy? They've lost my future business, that's for sure.
