"MINIs are shipped through two different carriers, Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics (WW) and K-Line America of KLTL Total Logistics (K-Line). American Roll-On Roll-Off Carrier (ARC) has a shipping partnership with WW so some of their ships may in fact be used for transport. WW integrates ARC ships into their system, so I will treat them as one entity during the rest of this discussion. While both carriers service a variety of ports in the United States, they typically stop at the same routine ports of call. Where you live will determine to which port your MINI is shipped.
The process for tracking your MINI as it cruises over to the US differs between WW and K-Line. WW provides a healthy amount of information about the vehicles booked aboard its ships and their scheduled departure/arrivals. Unfortunately, tracking your MINI through K-Line is next to impossible without your MAs help. Once your MINI is loaded onto a ship, your MA should have the ability to tell you what the ship’s name is and when it will get into port. "

Yay! It looks like they do work weekends, and I'll be making the trip with the rest of you. Car was finished on Friday and loaded onto the Turandot yesterday afternoon.
Note the websites are a little slow to update. Late last night (not that I've been checking frequently or anything) the OL still showed scheduled for production and the shipping company had nothing.

Anticipation!!
I ordered my very first Mini Cooper on June 16th and am so tremendously excited! 6 weeks ago I was in a car accident which broke my neck.... I've wanted a Mini forever, and I think my husband was so happy that I lived, he said ...let's get you your Mini as a get well gift. now there's added incentive!!! Lol
Anyway, I am practically breathless with anticipation for the arrival of my new baby! I see the doctor on Tuesday and he'll tell me if I can drive agai yet. I so hope the arrival and my recovery are in sync!!
I am having a ball reading all of your posts, and feel like I am joining the coolest fraternity/sorority in the world!! Motor on!!! ~Pam

Very Excited Now!
BLKJCK, I just read your post and I too conceived of my Mini on June 16th (hey, if our beautiful little babies are born on the day production is completed, then the order date must be the ideologic conception date!) lol A-n-y-w-a-y, then as I saw your last post, perhaps my Mini will be traveling to the States along with yours! I can hardly wait!!

That's so odd. With your car being finished 2 days before mine and coming to the same dealership I'd have to think they'd put them on the same boat. I think my order was in before yours, so I guess its possible that spots on the ship are reserved by order date, but I find that hard to believe. I hate to ask, but are you sure you don't have a typo in the VIN when you are checking it?

I copied and pasted the VIN straight from the site. I cannot believe it, but I will live. I will just have to hear about everyone else's exciting experiences until mine arrives. No worries... it is what it is.

My MINI was finally changed from On Order to Scheduled for Production!!! I called to get my estimated completion time, and the automated message said July 16th... this cannot be right - does completion simply mean the date the car will be made? I'm trying to find out the estimated time I will be able to pick up my car at the dealership...
Do I actually need to speak to someone for that info, or is it not always available at this early stage? My MA said he'd be in touch about the time frame this week but just wondering if I can get this without bothering him again
Thanks again for all of your helpful wisdom everyone!!
