My Mini finally made it to Hawaii.. Man that took a long time.
Sorry for the crappy picture. I already washed it twice. Really there is no point of me washing that much, since hawaii sporadically rains everyday.
Already tinted my car.. Just need to install the parts I've received and wait for the parts that have not arrived yet. I will never use Parcel Post again. It's been over 5 weeks.
Mini called today and my JCW has finally arrived!! That was a LONG 3 and a half months.
They need to install the rally lights and the bonnet stripes, and hopefully I get to pick it up this saturday! Very excited!

And I thought my 10 week wait was pretty long. Hope they deliver it perfect batdevice!
Wrecks - Best of luck with your new MINI. Post up some nice shots from around the island so we can all be jealous!
Spaceinvader - Congrats! You're right about it being hard to keep it tamed during break in. Our MA said to keep it under 4500 rpms and 100 mph. My hubby said he was being responsible - took it to only 93! I'm glad we're past our break in now. He's actually slowed down! Send pics when you can.
batdevice - tomorrow is going to be one great celebratory day. Can't wait to see pics of yours also! It's been a long wait and totally worth it.
I only have pics from when it was on the lot. I'll take more hopefully this weekend. First time uploading pics here so hope this works...
Nice man! I hope to see you around sometime! Our JCW's
were one of the last produced for the R56. Sweet!
Are you on any of the local Vancouver forums? I am not, I haven't been able to find any that were in use. I'd love to find some meet up's or Mini cruises.
Any plans for mods? I pick mine up tomorrow at noon!!

Yes i will be I will take lots of pics for sure! Been a long wait, but your right it's going to be well worth it. UPS delivered a package yesterday with some goodies for the car, so I will be having fun doing some mods soon!
Batdevice - I'm not on any other forums but I'd be up for some mini cruises for sure. Let's keep in touch.
I'm having so much fun with this car. I do plan to put on a GP2 Diffuser, black out some of the chrome and maybe put on a JB+ or ECU later on when I get more used to it.
You guys might find this pic funny. I park my car in a lot that houses some big trucks, sure enough, they parked on either side of me. My mini looked extra mini.

Well at least they don't park too close to your MINI to be in danger of getting door dings. I always try to park at corner spots and try to stay closer to the curb to leave more space on the opposite side when at work.

Hey Batdevice - where are the pics? I just dawned on me when I saw your name in another thread that we haven't seen you MINI. Well?
Cool! It worked
Had the car 2 weeks now, only had to the chance to drive it twice!!
So busy, then snow came…. Now Christmas. Hopefully this weekend I can take him out for a good burn. Cheers and Merry Christmas !!
