But according to the How to Track your MINI: Revised, Expanded and Updated thread it only lists WW as going to Brunswick, GA. Am I missing something?

And the madness continues. My car has been at the port since the 10th and both the OL and 866-ASK-MINI are still listing it as "at the port" and "awaiting transport." Did it get on the KLine boat? Who knows? Is someone joyriding around in it at the docks? Who knows. Was it crushed by an X6 during loading? Could be! I know one thing for sure: if I hear that little jingle one more time that my browser plays every time I click on "track your mini," I will have a stroke. It's time to step away from the computer.

Who knows: your MA knows. They know as soon as it gets on a boat. I sent an email to mine asking if he'd let me know when it gets on one, and he said he would. Which means more strokes, but fewer trips to Track Your Mini. Besides, my features are still changing on there--they were totally right...and now it's got the right colors and the wrong packages. It makes me worry when I see it so...I'm stepping away too.

There is a gallery on the MINI/BMW site for the roadster that happend to have the side view of it in Chili Red. I copied it and used Photoshop to make the changes.

A 360 degree view would be a great addition to the MINI site!

I don't think you are missing anything. There are always changes in the facts. I can tell you with certainty that K-Line ships and WW ships bring cars into Brunswick--which is awesome for us as we wait. My car missed the WW ship and made the K-Line. MINI/BMW may certainly have preferred carriers but have the flexibility to take advantage of both. I think that switch happens as needed. A bought a car last year and it arrived via K-line in Brunswick too.

However--I'm confused. I'm not quite at this stage yet--I'm still twiddling my thumbs in Southampton waiting for a boat. I assumed the robot was done with its updates once I hit the "you're waiting for a ship" stage. I guess there's one more update ("en route" or whatever)? I'm just curious as to how you know for sure that you're on a ship. Did your MA let you know?

Apparently this part of the process happens in 3 stages, because I received both of these updates but not yours:
"production is complete and waiting to be released to the carrier" followed by
"your vehicle is being transported to the port of exit."
(Yours obviously occurs in between those.) Soooo...you're 2/3 of the way to be sitting at the port dreaming about a ship. Come sit with me, I've been there since Saturday...

9/12 6am: robot said "complete, waiting to be released to carrier"
9/12 11am: live person told me it's in its last stages/finalizing assembly
9/14 robot: "being transported to the port of exit"
9/15 robot: "at port awaiting shipping vessel"
(you read that correctly, the person gave a report that was behind the robot, maybe the robot was wrong seeing as it was 2 more days to get on the train)

Stu I was wondering this myself. I'm waiting to be released to carrier.

I always hit "turn sound off" before it sings. You can get there faster than it can.

In my browser, the sound hits before the screen resolves. It make for some interesting moments at work, since I port Pandora from my PC to all of the speakers in the office...
I emailed him this morning -- we will see if he gives me the "I don't know any more than you do" response or if he actually looks into it. As of this morning, I'm still seeing "waiting for a boat" status. Frustrating.

I'm going to make your day, maybe :)

I just might make your day. I just checked the WW site, and tried to track my car by cargo # to see if it has been booked on a ship yet, and much to my surprise, it was loaded on the Antares Leader ship this morning, and is UNDERWAY RIGHT NOW! I have not even heard of that ship before.
