My MA, who just so happens to be the best in the World also, called me again today to remind me to come into the dealership Saturday to get my $750 discount coupon which they'll apply to my ordered MINI. My car could even be there at the dealership if somehow customs grows very lax and VDC finds no flaws. The dealership is only 20 some miles from the port in Jersey City.

The site is definitely up and also covers the Brunswick area (green areas are covered). The only thing I can think of is that it's the responsibility of the crew members to update the ship's location, so maybe they just haven't for a while.

My MA said he had to talk to the MiniUSA rep to confirm that the $750 could be applied to orders. It should apply to all sales after the event day at your dealer (if you went to the event and registered). If your car is ordered, it's still the dealers car, it's not like you already paid for it.

Hey! Hey!! The California Highway is moving!! Lol, I thought I noticed it move a little bit 30 mins ago but now it's right off the coast. So with that "2 hour delay" it should have docked like HollidayPJ said.

Yeah there's no way to know. But your MA will definitely know when your MINI reaches the VDC, which I'm hoping is tomorrow.
Here's what the Brunswick port looks like. In satellite mode, you can see 3 docked ships, and thousands of cars waiting in the parking lot.

Just wanted to say a couple things. Miami Beach Jeff, yours is surely on the California Highway alongside mine which is also coming to Miami. Which dealership did you order through, I ordered from Braman MINI. It'll be interesting to see if our cars arrive at the same time.
And a side-note to all (and Babsmike's signature ) although we arrive at the port in Brunswick, the VDC is actually in Charleston, South Carolina. You may then wonder why we don't simply get shipped to Charleston, since it's not only a port city but a port which frequently receives ships from Southampton. Well my answer to that is I have no idea, that's just how MINI/BMW do it

Oh, my MA told me on Saturday at our Not So Normal Sale, that when cars are off loaded in Brunswick, before they can be transported they have to go through customs. There is VDC there in Brunswick. Here's an article I found telling you BMW has 3 VDC points in the US and Brunswick is one of them. So our cars won't be transported to SC.
