Make sure everyone check your junk/spam email folder.

I was there at 9:45, did the interview with the girl at the desk around 10 and was out by 10:45. Still no certificate and I'm checking inbox and spam folder.

I'm in the same boat as you. I attended on Oct 6 and still no email. I've made sure my email's spam filter is off too. The only thing I can think of for the delay is that at my event all registration information was hand-written by the woman at the Not Normal event desk. Maybe that has to be snail-mailed to MINIUSA (from Maryland), and someone there has to transcribe those handwritten forms into their Not Normal Event system. A horrible error prone process.
Hopefully they got my name and email address correct.

The only one I can see in the fine print of the certificate (I still haven't received mine, but someone on another thread has and posted a legible copy) is having to take delivery of the purchased vehicle by 1/2/13.
That creates problems for me. I had already ordered before the event and was told then I was looking at a delivery date of late Jan/early Feb. But I was also simultaneously told to go to the event to get registered for the credit, which was actually already included on my order invoice.
So I now get to go back to the dealer to have a fun discussion.
Oh, boy, I experienced the same thing. The woman who registered me was transcribing everything I told her by hand onto a small form - and I know at least twice she seemed to be making corrections/changes to it. And yes, as you noted the subsequent data entry phase is an almost ironclad guarantee that mistakes in inputting names and addresses will occur. Perhaps that explains that while both I and another poster were at the same dealer on Saturday at almost the same time, he has gotten his certificate and I haven't.

Looks like the Fidelio is on a collision course with Hurricane Paul. It would quite some irony if my car was damaged by a hurricane that shared my name. Given this forecast track Hurricane Paul I wouldn't be surprised if it is late getting into port but maybe it will be gone before it gets there.

Awaiting Transportation
I went to the "Owners Lounge" at miniusa.com to track my status. I'm listed as "Awaiting Transportation", that is, waiting to get on the boat.
I'm told that once you find out what ship your car is on, you can track its voyage across the pond via Google Maps. Has anybody tried this?

Ordered my 2013 Mini JCW Hardtop, aka, COKESTR, on 10/1. Just called Mini Customer Relations today (10/15), who told me it's finishing assembly and headed to Quality Check. Hoping it's on a ship early next week. Most likely headed to Port Hueneme, CA, so it'll be a 21-day adventure on the high seas and thru the Panama Canal. Sigh...the waiting sucks! LOL

MY new Roadster arrive on the Clifornia Hwy 2 week ago & I'm told by a friend that works at Brunswick GA VDC that it is till waiting to be assigned to a hauler to the dealer in Raleigh, NC. along with 200 remaining Mini's to other dealers. He alos said the Mini's have been going in order of dealer having sales events first. MY dealer event is on the 18th so I'm hoping it will be there by then.

For some reason http://www.sailwx.info/ seems to have more position reports than marinetraffic. For example, it hasn't heard from the Fidelio in over 2 days but sailwx has data from 6 hours ago.
I say track both sites, adds to the fun.

If you have a good camera (like a DSLR) could you get a high-quality close-up of the paint in good light? I'd love to see some more detail of the iced chocolate...can't find it online
