MY new Roadster arrive on the Clifornia Hwy 2 week ago & I'm told by a friend that works at Brunswick GA VDC that it is till waiting to be assigned to a hauler to the dealer in Raleigh, NC. along with 200 remaining Mini's to other dealers. He alos said the Mini's have been going in order of dealer having sales events first. MY dealer event is on the 18th so I'm hoping it will be there by then.

Waiting to get loaded on a truck. I'll let you know when it does. Very soon the wait will be over and still in my 8 week estimate.Ok, my husband brought me to Louisiana to stay with my mom who is going through several procedures for her heart and on his way back home to Pensacola he passed 2trucks with new minis and new BMWs heading west. I've still not gotten word when mine will be delivered. OL still says at the distribution center and the robot still says at port waiting for a vessel. :( I'm really getting frustrated. My MA says he spoke to someone at the vdc and they show it waiting for transport. He also asked if there was any damage that might be holding things up and she said there wasn't any record of damage. I'm hoping there was another truck that delivered today. My MA told me on Saturday, picking with me, that he wasn't going to tell me it was there until it was time to pick her up. I see so many that were on the same boat and delivery dates have been scheduled.

I have been trying to not think about it but....... ya know
It came in on the California Highway and has been sitting at the VDC ever since.... who knows....... No info on the OL but, my MA told me it was supposed to be here on the 13th but..... no sign of it ever leaving the VDC......
I really need to get a hobby and stop thinking about it

Ok...my wife's MC "Bean" arrived here in Charleston this past Saturday. It was ready for pickup today. My MA called and said it was ready. He also informed us, without us bringing it to his attention, about the $750 coupon event and said if we could wait till this Saturday to pick it up we would qualify and drive it home then. I asked him if we waited would it possibly be driven as a demo for prospective buyers in the mean time. He said as far as he's concerned Bean is our car and is not for sale or for public view. He's got it off the lot locked up with the keys in his desk and it will not be displayed to anyone but us. He made no mention of us having to wait several days for the e-mail to pick up the car. In fact he said the event starts at 12:00 but it was ok for him to get us in there @ 9:00am to get us in and out. 4 days to go now before Bean is home!

Aloisius we are also on the Figaro! We live in the LA area, so I guess we will get our car maybe a day or two before you. How are you tracking the ship? I managed to find that it was headed for Panama, but not actually where it is.

I applied via the website and received a somewhat generic approval letter, I showed a copy of that to my MA who acknowledged it but that was about it.
Now I'm concerned that when the car arrives 6-8 weeks from now (and I'm basically committed) they'll change the rate on me or pull some other shenanigans. How has this worked out for you?

Looks like the Fidelio is on a collision course with Hurricane Paul. It would quite some irony if my car was damaged by a hurricane that shared my name. Given this forecast track Hurricane Paul I wouldn't be surprised if it is late getting into port but maybe it will be gone before it gets there.
The Weather Channel shows this projected path: http://www.weather.com/maps/news/epa...ath_large.html. I'm hoping the Fidelio will be trailing behind it. I'd rather them slow and be a few days late, keeping crew and cargo safe.

When I ordered, Aug 25th, my MA went through all the current rates, programs and incentives, stating the rates that were in affect ended Sept 2nd. If you have your credit score and that does not change there should be no games. Ask your MA when the current programs are scheduled to end. You can always shop credit unions for new auto loan rates.
