Did the truck not arrive with yours yet? Or is it taking longer to get the tint done? What kind of tint did you get?

Mine came in yesterday but we can't pick it up until tomorrow. Not sure why the dealer needs a day to get it ready since everything we ordered was from the factory.

Truck was originally due 10/16, now it's 10/19. They install ceramic tint with a lifetime warranty.

 

TX JCW, is yours going to Mini of The Woodlands? I remember you saying you were in the Houston area. My roadster was on the California Highway that landed on the 8th, like you I believe, and it's headed to the woodlands. But I haven't gotten word on when it will arrive at the dealer. Just wondering if I should expect it this Friday or Saturday like you.

 

No, mine is at Clear Lake Mini and they got two trucks yesterday, and mine happened to be on it. I think Houston is getting a lot of their Mini stock for the sale on Saturday. Hope yours arrives soon!

 

I keep thinking What's a few more days?? Painful is what it is! I now log in to the OL and the Ask Mini just to see what a joke it is.

 

My MA says not to worry, he will do "everything possible" to make it up to me (for changing the Not Normal event date and me missing out on the $750). I'm getting a set of floor mats, I bet :-)

In other news the Fidelio is off the tip of Baja, almost there!

 

I believe you are like me, you registered at the Not Normal event on the 6th but you never received the certificate email. I contacted my MA about this and apparently they have some record of my registration. They also remembered that I spoke with both of them at the event.
I suspect the registration lady screwed up my email address. Anyhow, my MA and Sale Manager were able to get all the information they need to apply to my already ordered car. They said I'm "good to go" and I don't need the email. I would think your MA should be able to do this for you too.

My car is due at the dealership any day now!

 

I get to pick up my 2013 JCW Roadster Saturday morning! I can't wait! Today he got black carbon fiber stripes, tinting and clear mask!

Yay, finally MINI Robot is saying I'm in transit as of this morning, still hasn't caught up. My MA is saying it's in Brunswick waiting for a truck. It's been in Brunswick for 10 days now, just went through inspection on the 15th. Is it ever going to get here.

Just got an e-mail from my awesome MA. My MINI was loaded on a truck yesterday. Soon, very soon....

 

A watched MINI never gets delivered

 

Tell me about it. When we stopped in to see our MA a week ago, as soon as I walked in the door, he told me I was barred from the internet.

 

Just got an email from my MA that my Roadster arrived at the dealership this morning! She said she is getting it state inspected, etc and will be ready for pick up on this Saturday...unfortunately I won't be able to get there until Tuesday or Wednesday since it's 3 hours away, but it is so so so close!

Sheesh! My Mini's been "Awaiting Transportation" for a solid week now. This is going to be harder than I thought.

 

I have now sent two emails to both my MA and the GM addressing the issue. No response yet :(

 

We are so close. Mine is now supposed to be delivered tomorrow to my dealer. We shall see!

 

I wonder what information is required to register someone? Like, could I register you this Saturday at my MINI Dealer's event?

They just have you fill out a little paper form.

This just in from my GM on the voucher issue:

Hi Greg,

I have been away at GM meetings for Penske. I am trying to verify the info but the voucher wasn't applicable on status 1 units according to the program rules. I have contacted MINI this morning.

No clue. Maybe already ordered cars?

 

I have a voucher and there is one shown on this thread. I see no restrictions except you have to pick up the auto before 1/2. Of course, you needed to attend the event and register.
