We put down our deposit and reserved a place in the queue for our Countryman Justa on Thursday. We took a leap of faith, based off 3 photos from the Paris Motor Show, and went for Brilliant Copper. We'll be founding members of the Brilliant Copper Official Owners Club.

Delivery projected for early December. That's just too long.

Miss Scarlett is in the garage safe and sound. We put 100 miles on her with the top down yesterday. I absolutely love her. But now that she's home it is time to say goodbye and move on. Thanks to all that have helped make this madness bearable throughout this process and good luck to those that have are still waiting for their babies to arrive. Happy Motoring! Luckyelfie, read my post quoted below. The restrictions my MA was talking about were Priority 1, cars ordered before XX/XX/2012 date, etc. I'd check back with your dealer to have them double check on your eligibility to use the voucher.

 

The MINI USA reps today signed me up, even though my MA walked right up to me [in front of them] to tell me that I should be expecting my vehicle in the first week of November. One [rep] was asking people if they already had a car on order, but the lady I got did not.

 

According to my MA, things are moving right along. Dover, who was ordered Oct 13th, is now in production although the OL has not wavered from the "On Order" status the phone system has updated to "in production" with a target completion date of 10/26.

 

Guess who just called? My MA, and they are going to honor the voucher! Woot! Woot!

I went to my dealer's event today. My MA checked and told me that I'd get the $750 off when I take delivery next week.

 

Mine was honored today when I picked-up my brand new Justa. In fact, I even got the 1.9% financing on top of that which made my new car payment cheaper than what I had been paying on my 2010 Justa Cooper.

 

I guess I am graduating, the roof is brown even if it does look black in these phone pictures. All I could do right now

 

Thank you so much! I was a bit nervous about the color not being able to see it on a car, just the little sample, but we are THRILLED with it. It was an expensive add on, but probably the best one we choose. One of the salesman stopped me to say how beautiful it was and that he hadn't seen that color either. Then again, he was a salesman!

This morning we put some real tires on it and drove all over. Founds some good corners and took them as fast as possible. So much fun in such a little car.

 

Glad you had nice weather to get your pretty new girl home! We loved how they had it all wrapped up for you. Has the daughter asked to drive it yet?
