Ha ha I was wondering the same thing. There's a thread here where someone had a tour of the vdc a few years ago. In it he says it only opens on weekends if there is a backlog to clear, otherwise mon to fri.

Pretty sure my car is the oldest one there right now so I'm hoping my car gets processed first! But then nothing has been lucky with this order.

Yeah ours made it to the docks the same day, but because of the August backorders on the 13' models it missed a few boats and I got disappointed several times before it drove onto the California Highway. Once it got the U.S. it got here FAST for us but we're only a couple hours away from the VDC. I think yours will hookup with a ship pretty fast though. Keep in mind, you could hitch a ride with a K-Line and not know it. Your MA is the best source of information from this point on...

Thanks....guess we will have a more accurate picture of where we stand on Monday when we can talk to someone at customer service rather than the "voice".

I've seen a couple of threads that mentioned 24/7 manufacturing. It would be hard to imagine with the increase in sales that this "mega" plant closes down on the weekend.

Also I think they would be moving as much out of distribution as possible in light of the recent not normal sale.

I believe the Brunswick,GA VDC is the only VDC on the east coast that is functional 7 days a week. The other VDC which I believe is in NJ is Mon-Fri I believe...I could be wrong though...

I went with the MINI Sport Antenna 83mm (MINI part # 65202296772). It's the shorter of the 2 accessory antennas they offer.

I think this is the same one. http://www.minimania.com/part/G2NMX7...55-56-57-58-60

A stubby antenna is a must, stock one looks so bad.

If it makes you feel better, my car was on the Antares Leader but still hasn't gotten to my dealer yet. It's taking longer to ship from SoCal to Colorado than some MINIs take to ship from the UK to the east coast.

We (my wife and I) just put in our order for our first Mini yesterday for my wife. Ordered the 2013 Cooper S Roadster in Chili Red, technology and premium package, manual transmission. Our MA said 7-8 weeks, and will get us our tracking info in the coming week. He showed us all the ones he was currently tracking for the dealership (Orlando, FL), and it was 7-8 pages long, single spaced. That's a lot of cars, in various levels of build and delivery.

We're trading in her 8-seater Armada for a 2-seater Roadster (she used to drive a Miata at one time). She's pretty excited.

Now we are shopping around for loan rates to see if we can beat what they will come up with, and trying to keep the Armada in the same shape it was in when we showed it to them.

Keeping fingers crossed on all items.

Where'd you order the grill surround from? Nice seats by the way.

Yes, that is the one... I paid $28 at ECS Tuning

I ordered from ECS Tuning. I've found that they currently have great pricing on a lot of OEM MINI parts & accessories. Was $57.xx for both the upper and lower grill surround pieces. I also picked up a left rear reverse light since I can't stand the lack of symmetry with the red rear fog on one side and the clear reverse on the other. I'm still debating whether to put a red bulb to act as the rear fog, wire it into the other reverse light and come up with my own rear fog using the stock wiring, or just leave it as is and just not turn on the rear fog, since it's now white.

I pre-applied online with MINI Financial and was approved for 1.49% for 4 years, so you might try there.

That looks great! Congratulations. I chose the chrome headlight and grill surrounds since that's one thing I've always loved about the Mini but that black looks sharp!
