i mentioned this in the clubman section before realizing i should have posted here. i joined awhile ago when looking to purchase a mini but never did, well i should be picking up my 2009 clubman after work today. test drove her yesterday, drives like a go kart. it's loaded with EVERYTHING and only 36K miles. ended up paying $16,652 out the door, is that good, bad, average? hope to posting pics this evening or tomorrow

Congrats! Great price for a 36K milesdepending the options that came with it. I got mine CPO clubman S 40K miles for $20k with options.

 

thanks guys, my boss let me out of work early to go pick her up, it was $16,600 and she has leather, nav/dvd, dual glass room, i think it has sport mode(there is a sport button infront of the shifter), don't really know what else it has the sales guy had never seen a mini, i'll try to post pics when i get home, i'm back at work so

if it is the sport mode it has, what is that all about?

 

Ask for the car FAX on the car, that will tell the options usually.
That does seem to be a good price, is it an S model, auto or manual ?
The sport button will make the throttle more responsive and weight the steering wheel also.
I know you will enjoy the extra room the Clubmans offer.

NOW THE MINI OBSESSION BEGINS!

If you have lounge leather interior that is part of , Premium Package long with the panoramic sunroof.
If you have heated seats that is part of the Cold Weather Package.
If you have a black button on your door handle to lock/unlock that is part of the convenience package : if you have that package you can start you car with the key in you pocket

 

ok dumb question, so this means it has the xenon headlights, i know on the way to work this morning they were really bright

it does have leather with the long sunroof
pretty sure it has heated seats, it has the buttons but haven't tested it out yet
has the black button on the door handle, had to run out that and try to start it with key in pocket, defiantly going to LOVE this feature

i've had the mini obession for a long time, although it been dormet for awhile, i owned an 84 cooper while stationed in germany back in 03-06

You send this poster the last 7 digits of your VIN and he emails you with all of the options your car came with originally.
You may need to wait a few weeks to hear back, but he is actively looking these up and sending them out. I printed mine out and put it in the file I keep on my car.

this is defiantly a fun little car, i'm learning more about it every minute it seems, i finally figured out how to get the different readings to come up on the display, i never would have thought to try pushing in the head light lever

 

Did your car come with the operational manual and if it does not then you can go to mimin lounge to download a PDF version. Lots of good info in the mini loung as well.

Does anybody know if BMW keeps build records per type? My Clubbie is Astro Black/Silver trim and a first year build, so I think the numbers would be fairly low.
