Welcome to the addiction. I thought I recognize the BMW dealership in that mini picture. I traded my mini in 2 years ago across the street at the ford dealership. Mine was also silver but a 07 and not an s. I am currently awaiting my next mini. I will be going to OKC to pick it up when it is in. Which is where I bought the first mini while we were stationed there. My husband did 15 years Navy, 5 Air Force. he is retired and we currently live about smack dab in the middle of the triangle of OKC, KC, and Denver dealerships. I chose OKC just because I know the city better. I always took a road trip for service since I was under the impression that the Wichita BMW didn't service MINI's. Did they give you any info on that when you bought yours?

and they really didnt say much about the car, no wrecks im the 3rd owner the usual. i do not think they service the MINI's there, but i have friends in OK that i will visit when the time comes.
i assume you ended up in the midwest cause of the air force?

However, right now the only baby I am worried about is my MINI. Almost 4 weeks in and still no movement out of on order. The ASKMINI personnel said that they thought it should change soon and go quickly from there. Hopefully it will be one of the first built when the plant finally strts up again.

Congratulations on your 05 MCS--they're great fun. Wichita has a local group of about 90 Miniacs called WAMO(Wichita Area Mini Owners) that meets monthly. Their email is WAMO_KS@yahoogroups.com and they are on Facebook. If you are looking for a local independent shop in Wichita, BavarianAuto is the best. I have used them exclusively since our warranty expired. Welcome to NAM and ICT.

Yes the air force is part of the story, my husband now is working with natural gas storage. We ae currently talking about a move back to the pacific NW. This summer has been a hot one. All our family and our children are there. With one child married we want to be close when grand babies come along.
