^Man, I tried to get people to come out to a meet the weekend before; my friend's shop was hosting an "End of Summer" meet. Mostly BMW, but they welcome everyone. LTMW, if you need any work done, trust me, he is hard to beat on prices and service.

I heard about that meet. I think my buddy with a Laguna Seca Blue S2K was thinking about going and asked me, but it was my wife's bday weekend so i couldn't make it out. Thanks for the recommendation. I'll definitely hit you up if/when i decide to get more stuff done to the car. Next on my list is springs/struts and rear sway. Need to save up some money so the wife doesn't chew my head off, LOL!

In for the win! I'm in arcadia. I tried some SCMM meets, but it's a little intimidating with the age difference and the social clicks already established. Not saying they are bad, but they are a very very close club.

Which is why I haven't gone to SCMM meets. I'm sure they're great and all, but I like to chill with my current crowd who are really awesome car enthusiasts that love to talk cars, love to mod and just super chill to be around.

Don't be intimidated by the supercharged BMW's or ballin' HRE's. They're welcoming guys.

I'm in the same boat. I'm coming from the Eclipse scene and i still hang out with all my homies from their as well as the lancer and Genesis crews. We've all branched away from our eclipse's for the most part, but we still love modding and working on one anothers car, so we definitely keep in touch regularly.

I'd even bring pops along. He's pushing 350hp/450ish tq in his 335 sedan.

Sooo, Taking back Wednesday is going down tomorrow. I'm heading out there with some buddies. If anyone is interested, it would be cool to see some more Mini Love out there.

Come through to the Attic parking lot EVERY OTHER Wednesday. All cars are welcome welcome.

TAKE NOTE
Absolutely:
- No Burnouts
- No Revving
- No Littering
- No Alcohol

We strictly enforce these rules because those are what caused a majority of the meets in the OC to die out.. so please do not do anything that would affect this meet.

Attic
8010 Beach Blvd., Buena Park, California 90620

What time is the Attic meet happening? Middle of the week is tough for me since i work long hours. Fri-Sat-Sun work best for me.

It looks like it's 8pm. I'm assuming it's free to attend right? I have to go to Cerritos to get my vinyl touched up, I might stop by afterwards since it's not too far away.

Yeah.... 8pm. My friend said it was a bit weak last meet. I think i'm still interested in going though.

Cal - What do you think about the shop who did your vinyl? I'm thinking about having some done and i'm really hesitant on who to go with. My dad did some carbon on his 335 and he ended up taking it off due to creases throughout certain areas.

They were awesome. Very reasonably priced, they stand by their work, and they're super nice guys. I just wish they were closer to Glendale. Their shop is called Extreme AutoWerks.

The SCMM members are very friendly and fun, just start talking to them. But most of them aren't as much into modding, as they are into having a good time with their cars. And socializing. :-) some of them autoX and race too. If you start talking to them and looking at the cars, you will enjoy hanging out with them.

The SCMM group is very, very nice. I think a lot of the people in this thread are younger tho. I went to the Ontario BBQ and drive-in a few months ago. I felt pretty out of place being only 21.

I think most of us are also more interested in modding than the SMCC members.

Yeah...I thought so. You met Monica and myself. We walked around together for a bit. I felt out of place myself.

calforhelp - I forgot to tell you that i ended up going to Extreme Autowerks for tint and PDR. Alex was super friendly and helpful and took his time to answer questions and explain processes. Nice shop. They had a customer's purple GTR in there. Man that thing sounds MEAN. They were also doing vinyl to a customers brand new Audi RS6.

I went in with my sister so we got two cars done at the same time. He does cash discounts too. I paid $250 for window tint and PDR ($195 tint & $55 PDR). This was for non-ceramic tint. My sister got her Genesis Coupe tinted with Ceramic for $300 and $100 for a clear UV tint for the front windshield.

I was going to get my racing stripes redone, but i had to replace my front passenger tire yesterday so that set me back on cash. I had to call Alex and cancel my appointment for this friday and he was super understanding about it. Very nice guy. They also do custom chrome paint. He was telling me about the process.

Oh and they use computer cut tint/graphics so all the tint lines come out clean.

Highly recommend anyone needing Tint, Vinyl, or PDR done.

Nice, I'll have to remind them of all the customers I've referred them to. I didn't know they did computer cut tint. I've had them design and cut some decals before which came out great.

I mentioned you when i was there. He remembers you by name. He let me walk into the workshop and i watched as they had the printer/cutter spit out the tint that was being applied to both my car and my sister's car.

Just left ExtremeAutoWerks. Alex told me what you guys were planning for your car. It sounds pretty awesome!

I'm now headed to the Attic meet to see what it's all aboot.
