Just left ExtremeAutoWerks. Alex told me what you guys were planning for your car. It sounds pretty awesome!
I'm now headed to the Attic meet to see what it's all aboot.
Ugh. I feel like a douche. I JUST got home after being at work all day and then driving to pick up my car from AEM. I just don't have it in me to drive down to the OC. Sorry about that. I hope there is a good turnout.

Dude, you're such a douche.
Just kidding, there were about 20 cars there when I left at 8:45. There was a group of maybe 10 old 3-series that came together. Everyone else was just a mid-90s honda slammed to the ground on 15" wheels with a giant fart canon on the rear. There were a few pretty cool cars tho like this new satin silver M6.
@MiniBOL
I'm planning on going to the Friday meet in Thousand Oaks if you still are. I think this is where we should all meet instead of trying to plan our own thing right now.
Too bad I have to hold off since I needed to buy a replacement tire :( I hit a pothole somewhere and my tire started a slow leak.
Aww, well it's not like your car sucks right now lol, so it probably won't hurt to hold off for a little while more. Can't wait to see the final product. Alex also said someone brought in a Laurel edition and was having work done on it. I'd like to see who owns that one.
That meet is just outta my way. Sorry guys. My friend is hosting a Snap-On event at his shop this month in El Monte. More details later, but I'll probably be dyno'in the MINI tomorrow at MD Automotive.
Crossing my fingers that I put a solid number down.

Nice. Maybe I'll show up for that one if timing works out. Good luck on the dyno. Let us know how it turns out!

My rear brakes are really starting to annoy me but I finally received the correct front pads so I'm gonna change all of them this Sunday. I should be fine going on Friday but only if you go.

I'd like to go to your friends event. Maybe we can have a little meet there too. I'd like to check out everyone's MINI and get some pointers about each ones mods.
I'd like to see your numbers on that dyno. I'm sure it'll be solid. Keep us posted.
I'm pretty sure he means snap-on tools. Nothing I need, but just an excuse to go since I live so close.
Correct. Snap-On tools. Suppose to be 300-400 headcount, not sure about all the details yet, but that's what I've been told so far. I'll get more details later this week or something.

RA - do you know what you were putting out after the tune?
Before tune, not sure. Didn't care, knew it would be a disappointing number anyways.
But now...Cobb AP stage 3, Akra turbo back, dos cai, forge fmic, and aquamist hfs-4, putting down 221whp/261 lbs-ft torque. Very solid numbers. Dyno was performed at MD Automotive on their DynoJet where Mark, the owner has been dynoing for major magazines such as Motor Trend and R&T for years.

Nice numbers man!
That's close to where I was on my R56, and I had a JCW turbo on it!
Also, I'm in OC and down to hang out with any of you...just say when! The stuff in the valley is too far, but I'm down for pretty much anywhere else.
Sister lives @ The Villages near the Spectrum. I'll be there more often since my sister gave birth to the first child in the whole family. Uncle Johnny has to visit all the time :D
I only use Shell. There's a 76 station in Pasadena at the end of the 110 who sells race gas. I used to put two gallons of that in with my 91 Shell to boost the octane a bit. Once that hit $10/gallon I stopped.
