Watching Football in Seattle

For the record, Pete Carroll is a genius and Seahawks football is for real. Somebody please tell Tom Brady that, OK? LMAO

Like many of you in 1st Gears, I am anxiously waiting for my Mini: 2013 JCW Hardtop, aka COKESTR. Found out today (10/15), it's finishing assembly and headed to QC (last stop before leaving the Oxford plant).

As I told my MA: I'm not getting much sleep, because I keep dreaming up future road trips, like from Montana to Vegas via Hwy 15 doing 140+mph (my 80 year old Dad was not amused when I told him that one).

Just got my Field Guide in the mail. The Co-Pilot (husband) tells me his favorite part is the Oh $%*! Handle. Works for me!

Welcome. If you really want to see what the MINI will do come down to The Ridge Motorsports Park. MINI's do great and good way to learn what the MINI will do. JCW is just fine all stock to get you started. Try a Hooked On Driving Event and be safe.

Waiting for the MINI was pretty cool. Enjoyed tracking it all the way through the canal and into Cali on the computer. Enjoy and be safe. Havn't had enough track to get mine over 130 yet. The max in a MINI down the front straight is about 120 with good run out of the cork screwat the ridge. That was actually a cool day in the rain. Less friction and the turbo loved the cool weather. Heading into turn 1 at 120 in the rain will get your attention. Love when they flag the high HP cars for holding me up in the corners and refusing to let to let me by on the straight. They think they are fast until after 2 more laps after they are forced to let you by you can't even see them in the mirror. My MINI only has race break pads that I run on the street too and race tires for the track on dry days. Ran the stock RF Dunlops at first and tey were actually really good wet and dry.
