Bye Bye Prius!
Said "good riddance" to Silver Slug the 2008 Prius on Tuesday and picked up my first ever new car. 2013 hatch S. Lightning Blue w/white top, manual, not a bunch of options, but I have plans...1st step is practical - make it safe for the MINI and my co-pilot cattle dog to coexist with some seat covers...
Had the Prius 2 years and never liked it or really trusted it from a handling standpoint. After 2 days and 100 miles I'm excited about the MINI and trust it more than the slug. Aside from the general coolness of the car I'm loving the comfy/supportive driver's seat and the Xenon head lights are fantastic, way worth the $100!
The dealer said to take it easy for the first 1000 miles - I really will try.

WOW...I don't think I can think of a more dramatic change!!
I have driven a Pruis as a rental...was the worst DRIVERS car ever IMO...was for a person who does not care about the trip, only the destination....the MINI, IMO, you will find is MUCH more about the DRIVE..I bet you will go out driving FOR FUN with no destination in particular!!
Welcome back to the world of DRIVING FUN!!!
