As a soon-to-be be mini owner (R60) I'd just like to say thanks to everyone who's posted here-NAM has been a wonderful resource for all things Mini. Such nuggets as the issues with the 18" wheels and all the back and forth about run-flats. At least now I'll be prepped for all the fun and quirks to come. My Mini is about to be offloaded from the Turandot in NYC. I have a daily commute of 150 miles and my current ride is a VA Passat V6 with 4 motion. All wheel drive is a great asset in my snowy corner of NE during the winter. My Passat is. 2004 with 286k miles on it and it's time for it to have a rest. My new All4 Countryman has some big shoes to fill but I can't wait for it to arrive. I've been a Mini fan since I was a kid.
