MiniHulk in 1st Gear, but rollin'
From the first time I got in and drove my new (to me) 2003 Cooper S, the racer that's been lying dormant for so long, has been revived! I bought the British Racing Green (thus the name MINIHulk) 2003 S three weeks ago and for the first time in a long time, it's a keeper. I've had many, many cars in my life but this thing is like a supped up Go-Kart like the ones I had as a kid! What a blast to drive. With only 40K miles on it, I'm looking forward to several years of enjoyment with it.
Just like the sub-culture I experienced with my motorcyle a few years ago, I'm learning about the same being connected to the MINI world! I'm looking forward to clubs, autocross, shows and much more as time progresses with the MINIHulk.
One of my bigger reasons for buying it was with hopes of saving a little more gas. I'm still looking for more gas economy, but with the fun factor being what it is, I find it hard to keep my foot out of it. Any suggestions on fuel economy will be appreciated but the fun still rolls on!
