Hello from Texas!

Dropping in to say hello. Looking to buy my first MINI. A MINI will be a perfect fit for me, I don't have much need for a larger car and I want something sporty plus the savings on gas would be great. I have my eye on a used '12 R56 JCW. Hopefully it will be around when my finances are right (2 weeks or so). If not I'll go with a new R56 S. I currently own a 2004 BMW E60 (545i), it's been a fun car but the maintenance is getting to be too much to handle anymore. I learned a lot from that car for detailing, maintenance and upgrades. Sad to see her go in some respects.

I'm looking forward to seeing what fun I can have with a MINI. The JCW would be like having an BMW M///. The '13 R56 S would be perfect because I picked out everything I want it to have. So either way I'll be happy. Looking forward to being an active member here and help where I can and gather information to make informed decisions about my MINI. I'm getting excited already!

welcome aboard. When you do get it post some pics. Also when you sign your contract to buy the MINI you agree to wave at fellow MINIacs.

Thanks! Probably with Sewell MINI. Not impressed with Dallas BMW/MINI. I haven't been to Moritz other than to buy parts for the Bimmer, but I may go over there just to test drive a car or two.
