Hi All!

I'm on my second MINI in as many years. My first was Smurfette, a 2010 Metallic Blue Convertible S purchased 7/2011. While she was great, I'm an old person at heart and missed having 4 doors... especially when carting people around. (My 6'2" hubby wasn't fond of getting out of the back seat either after long trips!)

As of Halloween 2012, I now have a 2012 Countryman All 4, automatic. Her name is Prim which is short for Primrose because she's Bright Yellow. It was a bit of a transition, but not quite as much as I expected although the difference between the 2 as far as interior room did seem HUGE at first. My only qualms now are the front cup holders, where to put my phone(iphone 5 that doesn't fit in the phone rail holder,) and that when accelerating at times it feels like she's going to stall out.

Any tips for the qualms are welcome!

Congrats on the purchase. My wife and I are in the same boat. Sold our R53 an upgraded to a CM for the extra space with our 21 month old. Like you said, the transition hasn't been bad at all and we are loving the extra space. It's bigger, but still all MINI!

Can't say we are experiencing the same problems, but I'm sure others will chime in to help.
