I just noticed today that when I shifted the gear to PARK and step on the brake, there is a clicking sound upon pressing the releasing the brake. Is this normal? No clicking when driving though.

I have the same sound... exactly the same. I took it to the dealership, and they told me its a sound but there is nothing bad about it.

I have to find a second opinion because I have never seen any car with that same click sound when parked

I think you may be talking about the gear selector lock releasing when you step on the brake?...allows you to shift out of the Park position.
