Lightning Blue in Valdosta, GA
Hey everybody! Just traded in my 2013 Volkswagen for a 2013 Mini Cooper!
I have had quite a variety of vehicles, but this is my first Cooper!
Absolutely LOVE the Mini!
Ended up getting 37.7 mpg on the 240 mile trip home from the dealership!
Looking forward to getting to know more about NAM!

Welcome to NAM and congrats on your new MINI. I also am a VW owner that will be trading in his VW for a MINI Roadster. I wasn't terribly impressed with the VW's design changes. It made the german engineered VW's look like a Honda or Toyota. Thanks for the great pics. Love the Lightening Blue.

Thanks!
I liked my GLI ok, but I absolutely am LOVING the MINI!...
We actually have put over 1,100 miles on it in the past 5 days due to some family issues, and it has been unbelievably good as an interstate car. Averaged around 38.5 mpg on two tanks (with A/C on, my wife and luggage in the back) going up and down I-75 at indicated 77mph (closer to 74 actual)... Cant ask for any better than that! :D
My ONLY complaint has to do with the radio/bluetooth: I wish it was more intuitive - It needs volume level numbers; I wish the phone button took you to the phone menu (instead of auto dialing the last number IMMEDIATELY); wish it had A2DP; and I really wish my voice dialing button worked.... but those are all minor gripes. (The stock stereo does sound good though!)
I am hoping to have many more years with this car!
Hope you love your Roadster as much as I love my Cooper Hardtop!
