Hey guys!

About a month ago I bought a 2007 MINI Cooper S Hardtop and so far I love it. I bought it with 59xxx on the odometer and it's already at 62xxx. It is replacing my 1997 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport. I miss the hell out of that car, but the MINI is definitely the most fun car I've ever owned.

I like the checked accents on the dash, along with the checkered cloth seats. Only wish that I had thought of this.

Oh well, maybe next time! ...and welcome to NAM...

So far I'm thinking I want black R90 wheels in black (without the rivets or whatever around the rim), two rally lights at the base of each stripe, carbon fiber side mirrors, red decal stripes, 1.25" lower ride height (just to get rid of that wheel gap), stub antenna, different sounding blow off valve: similar to what a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII sounds like, and black 'Joey Mod' to the front headlights.

What do you think? I want the car to still look like a mature adult owns it, not like a ragged out Honda owned by a 17 year old kid who knows nothing about automobiles.

It's also on the grey oval on the sides of the car and door panels. You can't see it very well in the photos, but it's there. I really like it.

Those sound like tasteful mods to me.
But..... you're never going to get your MINI to sound like an Evo.

I was using the sound as an example. That tschhew sound. I actually really like the Alta exhaust and BOV, which is probably what my next paycheck will be getting.
