Hey-o! So I'm in Chicago, and I just bought a '13 MCS! Cold weather package + premium II + upgraded stereo + 6-spd. I decided against sport suspension because of how nasty the city streets are here, and because I'm on the highway a lot. This MCS is everything I wanted *minus* the anthracite headliner, but I might be fixing that soon :D I'm gonna black out all the chrome in the coming weeks as well.

I was pretty close to getting a VW Golf R. Definitely up in the power department, but the driving was numb and the car itself still a bit too big and derpy feeling. The AWD would have been nice, but I much prefer the MCS in terms of feel. Plus my last car was an '06 Audi A3 3.2, so I had to get away from VW Auto Group once and for all!

I also have a '95 Volvo 850 GLT 5-spd in purple

Love this color! I was debating between this and midnight black, but I went with the latter. This looks great! Simple, clean.

 

Absolutely -- I think my favorite color scheme on the Mini is black w/ the standard chrome accents, no stripes, solid black roof. But a close second is the de-chromed white silver. I've already done the sidemarkers and the beltline, the headlight/taillight rings and JCW black grille are coming soon!

 

Great looking MINI, once you're done with blacking everything the mod bug will bite ya!
