Greetings from rubber town!

Hello,
After months of searching, I've finally bought my own MCS. Its a 2008 in lightning blue and I love it. I never would have thought being such a tall guy, I would be comfortable in a Mini but its quite spacious.

Nice.

Is that a hood scoop deformity or just a glare?

There is a big group of MINI owners that get together once a month down in Columbus. Most of them are not on here but over on another site that you can't mention here or it gets censored. You can also find them at www.midohiomotoring.com

The dreaded scoop droop! Seems all the R56 turbo cars get it eventually. Mine has the same thing.

I frequent the "other site". The Columbus guys are indeed very active and exceptionally friendly.

I wish. I haven't heard of anyone having any luck with the dealer unless it was still under warranty. Mine is definitely out of warranty. I'll have to live with it or take care of it on my own dime.
