Hpfp on r56 replaced now car takes longer to start????

What up people, i have a 2008 mini cooper S mello yello with 120K Miles i started having the common issues with the the HPFP and picked one up form ebay. I replaced the pump and no more rough starts however now it takes upto 10 seconds to fire up? have any of you guys experienced this or do i have to reprogram/reset anything after replacement?

Does the car restart easily if you've just turned it off? Like if the car is running and you turn it off and then turn it right back on again? Could be leaking down fuel pressure while it's sitting then has to pump it back up before the car will start.

It continues to do the same thing just cranks for approximately 10 seconds then fires up. With the bad HPFP that was taken out it would hesitate to start but it would only crank for less than 2-3 seconds. im lost :O
