Looking for advice!

I have joined this website to seek some advice before purchasing some parts.

A little back ground on me, I currently own a Subaru wrx ( my third subaru) and have had all trucks before. I have done ALL of the modifications myself and love working and improving cars to make them more fun! I currently work at a GM performance shop that works on vettes, CTS-V's, Camaro's, Etc..

Now the real reason I am here is to figure out what parts are good to get and what parts are to stay away from on Mini's. I am looking to get some parts for the girlfriends Mini for Xmas. She currently has a 2010 Cooper S Hardtop. She is looking to get lowering Springs, wheels, gauges (monitoring engine vitals), and a exhaust to make a little more noise then stock.

With that being said,
1.Who makes good parts that won't break the bank?
2. What mods are able to be done without tuning?
3. Anything else to look out for?

Thank you for your help!!

As far as gauges, I think this is the way to go. I getting a set after the first of the year.
