New Mini owner here. Just acquired a 2008 Cooper S last week after my dysfunctional VW Jetta got on our last nerves. I've always liked Mini but I was always hesitant of the huge speedometer (my dad always got on my case about my speeding). When we purchased it, we had to go on an impromptu trip to PA and it passed the long distance road test!

I guess I was destined to have a Mini. I was into RC car racing for a while and I put together the tamiya Mini Cooper kit.
