Howdy from the TX Hill Country!

Hi all-
Hope I'm doing this right- seems like every forum has just enough of its own ways of posting that you're never quite sure. Anyway- my wife and I are the proud and very happy owners of a '12 MINI Clubman (R55 if I have been reading the info right)- BRG with black trim and some chrome details. We flew from Austin to Orlando to pick him up on January 21st then had a mini MINI road trip for a couple days driving him back home to Texas. He was a dealer car that only had just over 3000 miles when we picked him up in Florida- happy to report he's about 4500 now and we couldn't be happier with him! Every time I go into the garage I can't help but smile just seeing him sitting there all shiny and green- ready to go! This forum was a great help to me as I looked for a car over the past few months- I look forward to a lot of great interaction with all the other MINI lovers on the site!

Welcome, and your post is just fine. Love the Clubman(how cool are those "hearse" doors on the rear that pop open with gas struts !?), and where you live as well.

I was in Austin last November for the F1 race. I got there a few days early with my bikes and rode all over the Hill Country for 3 days. Rode the "Three Sisters" and every great road I could find....

Jeff
