What Color?

I'll be buying my Mini late Augest early September. I am leaning torwards '06 MCS hardtop.
Here is my scenerio. I've always loved white cars, my previous Honda was an 88 CRXsi which was originally silver but I had custom painted BMW alpine white which looked absolutely fabulous.
I now live with my step-mom who frowns upon white cars even though we've already got two white ones in the garage. She practically hates white cars as she says they are too common and too plain. Her choice of color is black but she sais the Mini isnt "tough enough" to be black. She likes silver, but only certain silvers and grays and I find these colors too much like bare metal unless its a nice dark metallic gray, like really dark.
I find red nice, but too common with sports cars and also red is known to be a cop attention graber which I dont want. As far as yellow, unless its Ferrari yellow and on a Ferrari, I absolutely hate yellow cars. And then there is blue, I only like the dark dark metallic blues and most blue Minis I have seen have ben bright blue.
Mom says if I get white, it cant be in the garage. So, what color do I go with?
I really want white, but she is hard to argue with unless the white one happens to be the better buy at the time. I know, I know sounds complicated right? And I know its my car and should be my choice, but....................
Then, there is British Racing Green but as Ive ben reading seems to be the harder color to find right? Which color is more common, which is harder to come by, and which one is typically easy to keep clean? Or at least less noticable when dirty? My goals are lots of carbon fiber, and 16-17 inch gold BBS RS wheels.
One last thing, would like a nice luxurious colored leather interior trim too that will go well with carbon fiber trim.

There's a lot you're not telling us here. How old are you? Who is paying for the car? Is mom helping out, even a little? First of all, red being a cop catcher is pure myth. Next, if mom is contributing to the purchase her opinion should be listened to. If mom isn't throwing in on the purchase you have a good opportunity to be your own man/woman and get the color you want. Good luck.

When buying a used car condition is everything. Find the best one you can & live with the color.

I'll be buying the car with my own money earned from work. Color is important to live with as well as condition of car, but your right as condition is more important.

Have you looked at pepper white? It's a very earthy shade. I don't like white cars but love my pepper white MINI. If you are partial to white, this I would imagine is the white worth waiting for. It is a 2013 Green Park package with British racing green roof, mirrors, bonnet stripes and side stripes.

Pepper white is the only white MINI offered on the R50 - R53. The white roof on the two toned MINIs is the same as BMW Alpine white. It was only used on the roof.

I have an '06 British Racing Green. Great color. I found it after looking a long time, but I was really just looking for the best Mini I could get for my money. Concentrate on the condition of the car not the color.

Just kidding. If you go here, http://www.automotivetouchup.com/tou...2006/cooper-s/, you can see the colors for a 2006 MINI.
