Moving over to the Mini side.
Hi All,
Currently my wife drives a Mini Cooper S hardtop and she loves it. Actually we both love it and considering adding another Mini to the family. Biggest step is getting out of my Toy (2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser.) The FJ is still a fun truck but would like something easier to drive around town and yet capable in the snow during ski trips or unexpected weather. We already know we want a Countryman and know the packages. Biggest issue we are having is 2wd or All4. drove both and feel the All4 was a tad slower. I would like to hear your opinion.
Looking forward to being part of the community!

Based on the fact that you mentioned snow/ski trips, the ALL4 should be a no-brainer. As an added bonus, the All4 handles spirited turns better.
I bought the 2wd model because of the simple fact that I never do snow/ski trips. The 2wd is a bit quicker than the ALL4 in a straight line and gets a bit better mpg.
