Success!

A while ago I posted this question https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...h-out-for.html and got several helpful answers.

I'm pleased to report that we recently found a really nice 2008 S Convertible that is now parked in our garage. My wife and I are very happy to be Mini owners again; her especially since she's driving it to work every day

It was a bit of a task to find a Convertible (preferably an S) in our price-range that wasn't in rough condition, but then we found this one and it had everything we wanted except a manual. Even though we both would have preferred a stick, the paddles aren't horrible and in the "occasional" Southern California traffic tie-up the automatic is definitely a plus.

And the S power is FUUNNNNN!

Thanks again for the advice on buying a used Mini and I'm looking forward to being a part of the NAM/Mini community.

- Josh

Congrats! Nice grey color. Looks good against the black top.

I am getting ready to take delivery of my 2nd R57 (regrettably sold the first one)...

Love the top down experience too - enjoy! btw - both of mine have been automatics - still a hoot.

The supercharged 2008 is considered a modern collectible by the fast lane car guys:
