New mini owner.

I'm new to owning a Mini. The motor and CVT tranny were in boxes. Had I've known what Mini parts cost I would have pasted on buying it. I was told the car has 65k on the clock. The motor is in good condition with a rebuilt head, but its missing so many parts. So I just bought another motor from another CVT mini. The tranny needs all its bolts, drive belt, oil pan and other small parts. The internal parts look to be in good shape. I plan on rebuilding the cvt for now. I hope I dont regret that.

Sounds like you've got a lot of MINI rebuilding projects over the next few months to get your car in running condition. You can get a lot of knowledge from the NAM forums, so get to know the search function. Good luck with your project.
