Introduction of a Mini lover
Hi All!
I'm a long time lurker of this site. I recently decided I really just needed to create an account and join the community. I live in Wisconsin and have a 2008 R56 Mini Cooper Hatchback and recently I've begun to mod it. I have several projects going on right now.
Two weeks ago I finished installing a double din Kenwood DDX470. I'm now in the process of insulating/sound proofing the cabin with some NVX sound dampening mat. I'm also creating my own back seat delete kit for the rear and installing a new audio system. So far I've installed Kicker 6.5's and 6x9's and I'll be installing a kicker 600W RMS amp to run them. On top of all that I'm also painting all the chrome trim black. I've already finished the break and headlight trim and it looks great.
Anyway those are my current projects with many more to come. I have about 101 questions on things I'd like to do but I figure I can ask those when I'm ready to address them on my Mini.
All the best!
