Another new guy...
I am considering getting a Mini Cooper 'S' or 'JCW' (2013 or 2014). I have a 13 yr old Toyota that has been great.
When the Boss gets home from work, she will know I'm up to something evil, as I just finished vacuuming the condo.
Honestly, they are a bit more money than I expected. (true of everything, right?) Also, my car insurance will be @ $24-$30. per month more. And it must be premium fuel, correct?
As you can tell, I'm trying to create 'negatives' to offset my expected orgasmic reaction when I test drive one this coming weekend.

Just do it! and welcome to the club! Yeah, a little more to keep up, but not like a Porsche! Always use at least 91 or 92 octane. Trust me, I tried regular once and the Blue Meanie hated me for a couple days! Check oil often,(always use 5-30 synthetic) and coolant levels. It's just what they use. Be nice to her, drive her, give nice "wine" and she'll treat you well for years! Ohhhh! yeah, The car too!!! Good tires too! Like shoes for your wife!! LOL It's kind of a sports car, not a small car. Treat it that way.
Welcome!

No, my user name refers to a writer that I like, David Foster Wallace. I'm in Rhode Island. Way back when I worked for IBM, I trained in Dallas for a month. I went to the first Cowboys game ever played at Texas Stadium!! (Oct, 1971)
