Giant in a Mini

Hi all, My name is Brad. I'm 6'7 and seriously looking into the 2002-2006 Mini's. I've done my research and they have the same headroom as my 1999 Jetta. I was so excited to learn that I could fit in a car I considered myself to be too big for. I think I'm going to enjoy getting to know all of you!

Welcome! Guess it's time to test drive one and see how well you fit! My 6'4 buddy easily fits in my R56 with room to spare!

I did some research on KBB and the base model has 38" of headroom

Hi Brad,

I'm 6'5" and drive a 2004 Mini Cooper S. I have a ton of room. It is without doubt one of the most comfortable cars I have driven. I really think you will find it roomy and fun.

I will go as far to say the mini is the perfect car. I don't think I would modify anything, but the exhaust. And that's coming from someone who loves modified cars

Not modify anything, good luck. Personalization is what minis are all about.

I would highly recommend the Stratmosphere exhaust available at Way Motor Works. Mine fit exceptionally well. The sound is great but not obnoxious. No highway drone at all. Plus it feels like torque output has increased since putting it in.

Well heck, I'm only 6'1" and ordered a license plate that reads IDNTFIT... Guess I jumped the gun on that? Haha
