New Here, 2nd Mini, First "S"

Just bought a 2005 "S" W manual transmission. Has 84,000 miles on it. Feels solid, no unusual noises, power steering felt consistent.

This is my second Mini. Sold my non-S a few years ago and have been driving a Land Rover Discovery since (12 mpg on Premium), New job with a long commute had me looking for a Mini again.

This car appears to have had an easy life. but, it didn't come with a service history,....so, I will be changing all the lubricants including the super charger oil, and possibly a coolant and Brake/clutch flush as time permit.

The "Check engine Soon" and "Check gas Cap" lights are on, I'm hoping that a new gas cap will fix both. Would appreciate any suggestions on this.

I also need a right rear plastic fender molding if anyone happens to have one available,..plus a new rear hatch Badge.

I pick the car up tomorrow, I'll be back here with more feedback on the car once I get some miles on it.

Always an exciting time when a new car is about to come into the garage.
