Stock pulley is hot pressed....
So no bolt holes.....
Most every aftermarket pulley made has bolt holes on the face...so removal of one aftermarket to switch to another is easy...
But you need a puller for the OEM one...standard s pulley will need a puller...
The JCW pulley will usually need to be cutoff....

Is that the only way to remove the JCW pulley? I guess i dont have other choice..i dont have tools to cu it off, machine shop probably cost a bit. Why its harder than the regular MCS?

Because it is smaller than stock and there isn't a puller available for it

I pulled a 15% and replace it with 19% on my old SC, this new superchareger is 2 1/2" diameter across ( outside diameter), the 15% i think is 2 1/8", i just want an answer from those who pulled their, measuring their old pulley and if its same diameter as mine and which puller works . Thank you.
Much appreciated.

Mini website aftermarket dealers saying that the puller will not work and the rest of the World, althought some are saying its Stock ( not underdrive,11%,15% etc. etc.). One favor to ask... Can you please measure the pulley that you remove and let me know, if its 2 1/2 inches in diameter acrosss, ill buy it. Thank you.

BTW: This is the picture of the new SC Pulley that i am trying to remove! JCW according to the seller, inside its black coated-turbine/whatever you call...shaft etc, so those familiar with this should know if its the 5th Generation Supercharger.

save money and time, cut the JCW pulley off. your going to break the pulley puller, and then cut the pulley off anyway.

even the dealer (mini of orlando) broke their puller when they did mine.

My buddy took mine to scrap it pretty sure, might have it at home but I don't think so. Didn't realize you have the 11% pulley, better get the proper tool for the job.

If the sc is off the car....cutting it off, or even using some heat and pulling it off should be easy...
That is how it was done BEFORE PULLERS....
THE ADVANTAGE OF A PULLER is it can be done on the car....

Here is the picture of the 19% pulley that its in the old SC...2 inches exactly.

I appreciate all the input/comments i went to 2 machine shop...refused not taking any chances.
Again thank you for your input.

The picture is the old SC that PTO seal leaks almost dry-out. I was going to reinstall it as you notice i modified the drain plug with refilling tube!

You do not need a puller to remove an aftermarket pulley....

Just remove the bolts...you might need some heat to loosen/soften the locktight on them (really should have it if done right).

This is my last attemp... Otherwise it will go in tomorrow, waiting for the Belt Tensioner that causes the Engine to overheat due to lack of water circulation (belt skipping)!

Judges... Let me know if this works, maybe add a little heat hopefully it will give and comes out...

Second picture

Update::: Using the clam-shell puller----useless and eneded up cutting and grinding it... best tools to cut.... kneumatic wheel cutter.
